Abba,

Today, as in every day, I am in desperate need of You. Any strength I perceive in myself is an illusion. Any self-sufficiency, a lie. I am in as much need of You now as ever. If not more so. Do not let me proceed forth in my day with any other pretense than this, for to do so places me in mortal danger and Your glory at utter risk.

Rather, so fill me with the presence and power of Your Spirit that my every breath breathes the vapors of heaven. So fill and consume me with Yourself, so saturate me with Your incredible, priceless worth so that it drips from me with every word, action, thought, and desire.

Let my body, my appendages, my acts be an extension of Your heavenly hands and feet. May my vessel be a living reflection of Your glory and holiness. Let me be invisible due to the shine of Your glory as it permeates and flows through me to the world You have placed me in as an ambassador.

Let me not once today strive to live and breath, to serve and act upon my own independent will or strength, but may I simply live and breath in the might and glory of Your person in me.
