Dad,
I miss you. I wish we had more time before you entered our eternal home. But, God in His wisdom and will determined differently. And because He is good, it must be better than any plan I would have seen too. One day I will join you. Until then, while you rest and worship,_ continue to be obedient to Him, to serve, and be faithful to the mission He gave me, ever as you were until your last breath.
Thank you for being a model of faithfulness to God. Thank you that despite your imperfections, you never stopped seeking God, never stopped sharing His word, you remained resolved to the authority, sufficiency, od desirability of the living Word.
Thank you for loving mom so well, right to the end. You were committed and compassionate, patient and hopeful more than you weren’t. Your example affected me deeply every day that I witnessed it.
Thank you for your love and devotion to my children. Your invested in and cared for them, always pointing them to Jesus and challenging them to love Him more. Your passion for Mark 12:30 -31 is one lasting legacy that will not be easily dismissed or forgotten.
Thank you Dad, for being my Dad. Imperfect but striving for holiness. Thank you for loving and giving and providing me a legacy to cling to and to pass forward.
I love you!
