Profluent – Flowing smoothly or abundantly

The rain’s deluge raced
Cascading profluently
Wiping the slate clean

A Poem

The rains deluge ran 
Profluent in its scope
Cleansing all presence of man

Vicious in its malicious intent
Utter eradication it brought
Every resource at its disposal spent

Leaving nothing to spare
Heartlessly carving its course
It’s power felt everywhere

In its wake, an eerie mute
A deep emanating satisfaction 
At the erasature of man’s brute

Profluent it came
Profluent it went
Leaving nothing the same
