Abba,

We are wholly dependent on you. We often rail and resist against this truth…but it is truth. We are weak. We are helpless against the forces that affront us. Your grace and power working in us is the only reason for any of the good we see coming from our lives. We are dependent upon you to make us worthy of Your calling. We are dependent on you and your power for every good work of faith that we accomplish! May we humbly and patiently wait upon you. May we find joyful delight in our dependence upon you instead of begrudging resentment. May the understanding of your strength, freely offered, inspire worship in our hearts and joy in our souls as we ponder the truth of an almighty God offering so much to us. We love and worship You, Abba. We humbly submit and surrender. We allow your power and grace to flow through us in order to magnify Your name and silence our pride and self sufficiency. We love you!
